Interactivity arrived in Yellowknife (NWT, CANADA).

Simbioz Interactivity arrived in Yellowknife (NWT in CANADA) with its FT-210 Unit, which will be featured in the exhibit titled The Legendary Sky. This is an informative and mobile exhibit intended to raise awareness of the nature, culture and wonders of Canada’s northern sky. Visitors of all ages will discover AuroraMAX, a Touchless Interactive Simulator built by Simbioz for the Canadian Space Agency (CSA). AuroraMax is meant to explain the phenomenon known as Northern Lights. Stay tuned for details!

The Canadian Space Agency (CSA) has selected Simbioz to create a fun and educational project geared to public of all ages. Starting in the spring of 2010, the CSA, using a Simbioz Touchless Interative System (FT-210), will demonstrate an innovative application highlighting the impact of natural phenomena from space. Following of a call for tenders, the Société des Alcools du Québec (SAQ), a state-owned corporation responsible for the trade of alcoholic beverages, has selected Simbioz as its Touchless Interactive Solutions provider to carry out an innovative project. Stay tuned for details!

Now, we are at the Montreal Airport

Simbioz now has a home in the TD First Class Lounge at the Montreal Airport (International jetty, gate 53). The interactive application features information on the TD First Class Visa Infinite Card as well as travel destinations, hotels, restaurants, weather and much more. Simbioz produced this project for the TD Bank Financial Group in collaboration with The Weather Network and Astral Media Outdoor.

Space is in Simbioz at the McCord Museum of Montreal

The McCord Museum of Montreal purchased a second Simbioz FT-57 interactive system for their new exhibition eSpace to underline the 40th anniversary of man's first steps on the moon. The addition of a second « Touchless » interactive system will allow the visitor to visualize numerous pictures and videos coming directly from the Internet, with a simple hand gesture. Simbioz will be at the Canadian Museums Association National Conference 2009 in Toronto on March 26 and 27 at the Fairmont Royal York Hotel. An interactive system will be in demonstration in the CHIN's booth.

Simbioz Delivers a Virtual Artefact Browser to McCord Museum

Simbioz delivered last week the final version of the virtual artefacts content for McCord Museum in Montreal. Specifically designed to run on Simbioz FT systems, the interactive content will allow the museum's visitor to closely interact with highly realistic 3D scans of some of McCord museum's collection artefacts. The actual museum's artefact were digitized using a 3D scanner and the resulting models are now available for all to play with, as well as some relevant videos and images.

Simbioz Opens New Markets in the Middle East

Over the next 2 weeks, Simbioz team will be installing 6 systems to Dubai and Abu Dhabi. These orders are a breakthrough for the Montreal company into middle eastern markets. Simbioz previously shipped systems to Asia, North America and Europe.

Simbioz Ships a system to Malaysia

Last week, Simbioz shipped a Simbioz FT with a 57 inches touchless interactive screen to Obi Labs, Simbioz's  partner in Malaysia.

Simbioz Delivers three 75 Square Foot Screens to HP

Simbioz, along with partners Design and Production and Frog Design delivered highly interactive screens for three meeting rooms at HP's Executive Briefing Center in Cupertino, California. These screens will allow presenters to interact with multimedia content using touchless interactivity.
