Simbioz RP

The RP system (which stands for rear projection) was our first flagship product. It has been installed in North America, Europe and Asia with critical appraisal. The standard system comes with a striking 100 inch rear-projection screen in addition to the surround sound, computer and elegant exterior design. The RP has an inspired presence capable of drawing and maintaining a crowd. This system has been particularly successful in high-impact and high-visibility applications like trade shows, corporate boardrooms, visitor centers, museums and public spaces.

The RP touchless interactive device has the same functionality as the rest of the Simbioz product family providing touchless interactivity to allow users to navigate through content without touching the screen, creating this engaging and fun interactive experience.

Touchless interactivity is created by harnessing artificial vision technology using 2 cameras built discretely into the industrial design of the housing. The cameras are hidden to the general public thus adding to the magical experience and sense of continued intrigue users experience when using the product.

On the software side, the RP is bundled with the Simbioz Terminal application. Simbioz suite of software is capable of many permutations in its functionality, for example, splitting the screen up into several sections showcasing interactive content on certain sections and non interactive content on others, Simbioz Terminal can take live TV feeds, or internet RSS feeds or content from websites displayed in a scrolling fashion across the bottom of the screen.

Elements are built into our entire line of display solutions to prevent downtime and to help ensure successful implementation. The sturdy construction of the unit is made to last. Its modular design allows upgrading each component (screen, computer, cameras, etc) independently as technology evolves while keeping the same global unit. While the Simbioz RP was not inherently designed as a transportable unit, its modular construction allows fairly simple handling, installation and service. This unit has been very successfully used in trade shows.
