PROJECT: Guest Book and Survey
CLIENT: Muskoka Boat & Heritage Centre
To learn more about their visitors and to collect important data, the Muskoka Boat & Heritage Centre asked Simbioz to develop a guest book and survey application. Simbioz provided a turnkey solution with a 22″ pedestal stand interactive kiosk with an application that allows visitors to leave information such as their name, home town, comments and email, ask to receive the newsletter and complete a survey. The museum can then collect and analyse this data in order to become better acquainted with their visitors and provide exhibits and services that better target these clients.
The museum can easily create new questions for the survey. All the survey data is provided in a spreadsheet, so it’s easy for them to analyse it the way they want and to create statistics.
The interactive kiosk is a self-standing unit with a 22″ high-sensitivity multi-touch monitor and an integrated PC. The kiosk can easily be moved to a different place in the museum when special events are held.
